Entire Car was Disassembled (Expert for Upper Dash), Glass was removed, Car Was Then Stripped to Bare Metal, Much New Metal Installed, The Hand Shaped to Iriginal Body Using NO Body Fillers, Then Primed With Rust Preventer and DP40 in the Engine Compartment, Finished with Deltron Paint with Basecoat/Clearcoat. Car was Reassembled After all Components were Rebuilt or Replaced.
Window with high speed regulators, aluminum radiator, wheels and tires, anti swaybars, shcoks and springs, steering rack assy, Trans-axle assy, headers and exhaust pipes, drive shafts, clutch and thow out bearing, wheel bearing, pantera top sound speakers, hinges, stainless steel door latches, headlights and buckets, door locks, belts and hoses, alternator, pipe stick and tope, taillights, mouldings, fuel regulator, plus more.
Removed, reinstalled new swaybar brushings, new steel bearings, new lower ball joints, inspected and services steering box, painted upper and lower control arms; swaybar; shocks and springs, reinstalled front suspension with front camber lock kit and completed a four wheel alignment when car was finished.
Removed, new large four pass radiator and twin Miria fans installed. All new stainless steel lower water tubes installed with new tube grommets and Green Stripe water hoses, new factory water pump, new thermostat and bypass plate, new Hall Pantera polished stainless steel water bottles with Black anodized billet aluminum pressure caps.
Detailed with new windshield washer bottle, new chrome plated master clutch cylinder with stainless steel clutch line all the way to engine compartment and attached to the new chromed clutch slave cylinder, brake master cylinder removed and painted glass black reinstalled after the brake booster was polished and connected with braided stainless steel brake lines, mounting bracket for clutch and brake booster was removed, sand blasted and clearcoated and pedal assembly rebuilt then reinstalled. Trunk and front deck lid inserts recarpeted. New Wilkinson front deck lid latch installed and new front release cable installed with additional safety cable. New Gell Cell battery installed with stainless steel battery hold down bar, new welding quality electrical and starting cables and Moroso master cut off switch installed in the front trunk.
Removed all interior (except for upper dash pod), sand blasted entire area and treated with OSSFO rust prevention solution then repainted entire area with rush prevention paint. Seats reworked and recovered using original like vinyl with cloth seat and back inserts, sear tracks removed, cleaned, repainted and new brass rollers installed. Aircraft quality five point driver and passenger retention seat belt system installed with automatic inertial and manual locking shoulder harnesses and adjustable crotch strap. New Welton Wool Carpet. Door panels removed and recovered with matching cloth but with original like stitching, both door window mechanics and locks rebuilt. Door and window guides, bumpers, and light switches replaced. All console switch bezels and window command switches replaced and all other console switches disassembled, cleaned, valve removed, cleaned and lubricated. New heater hoses with dual shut-off valves and connectors installed. New A/C hoses installed. Lacarra steering wheel with Quick Release anti theft device installed. Gear selector removed, dissembled, cleaned and lubricated. Gear shift stick and shaft plate rechromed and reinstalled. New gear shift knob installed. New emergency brake handle assembly and cable installed. New original overhead light cover installed. New billet aluminum accelerator pedal and new accelerator cable installed. New tachometer cable installed. New cloth headliner installed and other interior parts recovered with original type material.
All components in the engine compartment were removed and rebuilt or replaced. Entire engine compartment was sand blasted and stripped to bar metal, upper and lower suspension points reworked and strengthened, then primered with DP40 and painted with black textured paint. Gas tank was removed, cleaned, inspected and pressure tested repainted, new sending unit and float installed, new 90 degree filler neck and billet aluminum gas cap installed, and then the tank was reinstalled on new rubber supports with new rubber strap strips. Gas tank shield was powdercoated gloss black and reinstalled. All new rubber gas lines were installed, new factory mechanical fuel pump and in line filter was installed. Charcoal filter removed, cleaned and repainted as original. Left and right engine cover supports removed, repaired and powdercoated semigloss black and reinstalled with new hardware. Engine motor mounts removed, sand blasted, clear coated and reinstalled. Quick removable emergency brake cable corssmember installed. A/C condenser repaired and pressure tested and repainted. A/C sandblasted and powdercoated gloss black. New A/C dryer installed. All new A/C hoses installed and new rotary compressor installed. Aircraft quality external engine oil cooler (Hall Pantera) installed in right rear wheel-well area with louvered stainless steel bulkhead and braided stainless steel connection lines. Engine electrical compartment was detailed and partly rewired. New coil, voltage, starter solenoid, and dual Ford electronic ignition boxes were installed. New deck lid gas struts installed. New self centering deck lid latch and deck lid stops installed. New carpeted deck lid inserts installed and the trunk shell refurbished and carpeted.
Front and rear electrical harnesses removed, stripped and cleaned, and rewrapped with heat shrink tubing. Most electrical connectors disassembled, inspected, cleaned, replaced were necessary and reinstalled using di-electric grease and/or heat shrink joints. All head light, tail light, turn lap and side marker lights were removed, disassembled, cleaned and repaired or clearcoated, then reinstalled. All accessible grounding points were cleaned. Fuse box and relay panel were cleaned and inspected. Console instrument cluster connections were cleaned and repaired where necessary.
351 Cleveland; Completed rebuilt. Engine purchased from P.A.W. as mild performance motor. Black bored, line honed and decked. Screw in stud kit, Harland Sharp roller rockers, Forged pistons, Hardened rods, true roller chain and gear, Competition Cam(High energy FC 280H-10,530 Lift), 3 angle valve job, engine and components balanced and pistons installed by Ownes Racing Engines. All oil passages polished and chamfered. new high volume oil pump and pick-up. Edelbrock Performer dual plane intake(Powercoated gray). Holley 750 double pumper, plumbed with Aeroquip feed lines. Ford electronic ignition system and new ignition wires. Hall Pantera engine dress-up kit. Factory GTS exhaust system (aluminized). Dyno break in and tested, peak power 342 HP, peak torque 370 LB-ft.
Type 1,(also powdercoated gray and black). Rebuilt by Roy and Lloyd Butfhoy (long time ZF specialist) Main bearings replaced, 2nd and 3rd gears rebuilt, 1st and 2,d and 3rd gear synchronizers replaced, mateing surfaces remachined, and gearbox resealed. All &-joints replaced. New half-shaft nuts and bolts used.
Completely removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Both up-right carriers remachined to take oversized outer bearings. All inner and outer bearings replaced. New upper and lower control bushings installed. Rear springs and shocks disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and reinstalled. New lubrication type lower control arm bolts installed. Main up-rights, upper and lower control arms, and rear springs powdercoated (Black. Rear sway bar and brackets removed and chromed and reinstalled with new bushings. Billet aluminum DeTomaso logo plate installed on rear of black crossmemeber.
Much old metal cut away and new factory or after market metal installed. Both outer-door panels replaced, both outer lower rocker panels replaced, one complete intermediate rocker panel and half of the other intermediate rocker panel were replaced, front lower nose section and lower radiator support bracket were replaced, small lower panel below gas tank area was replaced. Body was then reshaped by hand and dolly to original shape and only very light surface fill was used in the final finish. Paint is deltron (Black) base coat/clear coat. Most internal channels were sprayed with rust prevention coating.
