Dr. Charles was a well-respected professor at Berea College for many years. Though totally blind, he refused this disability to disable him. He attended Arkansas Black School for the Deaf and Blind in Little Rock, The Arkansas Mechanical and Normal College at Pine Bluff, and then Cornell University.
Dr. Charles just loved learning. His braille Bibles and other books would overwhelm a small library because they are so big and numerous. Dr. Charles gained the love and respect of all who met and knew him.

This auction is being conducted from the property site in Berea, KY. The pick-up will be at the auction site in Berea, KY on Tuesday, December 15th from 12-6 p.m. All purchases that have not been picked up by Tuesday, December 15th at 6:00 p.m. will be charged to the credit card.

NOTE: The purchaser of a single-family residence built before 1978 has a maximum of 10 days to inspect the property of lead-based paint. The period for inspections begins December 4th through December 13th. The successful bidder must sign a waiver of the 10-day inspection period.
PREVIEW: Monday, December 7th & 14th from 3-6 p.m.
PICKUP: Tuesday, December 15th from 12-6 p.m.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the winning bid to determine the final sale price on both real estate and personal property.
TERMS: Real Estate- 20% down due within 48 hours of close of bidding, with balance in 30 days with deed. Personal Property- Payment in full due at pickup in the form of cash, check, Visa or MasterCard with an additional 3% processing fee ($3 minimum).
