LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The W2SW4 of Section 6-9-2, Clay County, Kansas. This tract is located in Exeter Township and consists of 78.97 acres according to FSA records. This tract is all good pasture with 2 ponds. Fences range from nearly new on the south and east to very old and in need of replacement on the north. The west fence is older but functional. This pasture has had a blackberry problem which has been largely eliminated but will require further treatment to complete the process. The soil types are about 35% Class 4 Lancaster (Lc), 30% Class 3 Geary (Gc), 25% Class 3 Crete (Ct) and 10% Class 4 Edalgo (Ed). These Geary and Crete soils are normally cultivated and this Lancaster soil is cultivated about 50% of the time. The Edalgo soil lies along the south fence and is normally used as range but is sometimes cultivated. This is a good pasture located at the intersection of 12th and Granite Roads. From the west edge of Clay Center, Kansas follow Highway 24 west for five miles to Hackberry Rd. (The Idana Rd.) then go five miles south to 13th Rd., then one mile west and one half mile south to the northwest corner of the tract.
