39 Head of High Grade Dairy Cattle
30 Holstein cows, 1 R&W Holstein cow, 3 Hol. x Jersey cross cows, 2 Ayrshire cows, 3 Holstein heifers (bred 3-4 mo.)
This is a top herd of dairy cattle that have been very well bred for production. Bulk tank receipts show a 65 lb. per cow average w/a SCC in the 300,000 range. Several fresh cows will be milking from 80-126 lbs. per day. The cows are housed in a conventional tie stall barn and left outside every day. These are well framed cattle w/very good udders, feet & legs. All pertinent production, breeding & SCC info. will be posted on sale day. If you are looking for very good replacement cows or some bred heifers, be sure to attend this sale.
