Cows are presently milked in a parlor and are on monthly herd health. 25 are due to freshen in the next 60 days and 25 have freshened in the last 60 days. The cows are a product of artificial breeding and have good type. Approx. 60% of this herd are 1st and 2nd calf. It is a young herd. There are 90 jersey/holstein cross heifers, of which 30 are bred, 19 are 12-18 months, 21 are 7-12 months, and 20 are 1-6 months.These heifers are in good flesh and have been well cared for.
