70 Head of High Grade Holstein Dairy Cattle
This is an extremely good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production. Current OFF. DHIA test sheets show a RHA of 22,355 m. 3.8% 862 B.F. 722 pro. Bulk tank receipts show a 75 lb. average w/SCC in the 200,000 range. Several cows are milking over 100 lbs. per day w/no BGH being used. Top sires from Accelerated Generics have been used for many years w/daughters of Foundation, Ito, Pyrex, Lon, Boss Iron & Galleon selling. Current service sires include Marion, Billion, Airraid, Mac, Onward, & Wrangler. This has been a 100% A-I homebred herd for many years. The herd has been on a monthly herd health program w/all seasonal vacc. given. This is a very young herd of cows w/33 cows being in their 1st or 2nd lactation. These are well framed dairy cattle w/fancy udders, excellent feet & legs & dairiness throughout. This is without a doubt one of the finest herd sold in Central Wis. this year.
