| 104 HEAD OF HOLSTEIN DAIRY CATTLE: consisting of 55 cows which were on official DHI test until April. They average about 50 lbs. per cow per day. They have bred their herd with the red and white factor for 10 years and now have some red & white Holstein cows. They used breeding from Elm Park Farms Ltd. 12 cows have freshened in the last 60 days and 15 are due to freshen in the next 60 days. These are large sized cows and the herd is bred for year-round freshening. The cattle will be pregnancy checked by a veterinarian and breeding records will be available the day of the sale. There are 16 bred heifers, some of which are red & white. There are 10 springing, and 6 are short bred. There are 26 open heifers, some of which are red & white, ages 12-14 months. There are 2 registered bulls, about 2 years old, from Elm Park Farms Ltd. There are 3 started Holstein heifer calves and 2 started holstein steer calves.
