History:

The large pieces of furniture have come directly from the Morgan ancestry home, where it remains in the family with the sixth and seventh generation living there and have remained ever since. The house was built pre 1860’s.

The sideboard, washstand, dresser and bedroom were purchased as a wedding present for his new wife, the former Dora Cornelle, a former resent of Ekfrid Township.

She was an artist of some talent. She did the paintings and sketches by hand in approx the 60’s.

To note her father was Chris Cornelle, a lieutenant of militia during the 1837 Upper Canada Rebellion.
